SERA, chief of staff for Sales

SERA, the AI chief of staff for Nagent's Sales team

SERA leads Sales. She keeps the pipeline true, hands each piece of sales work to the teammate who owns it, and reports where every deal stands from the CRM, not from memory.

Watch the video: SERA, the AI chief of staff for Nagent's Sales team

SERA owns Sales, the department that owns qualified meetings. She answers pipeline questions from the CRM digest in the team record: stage, count, value and age, each as the record gives it. She never invents a deal, a contact, a value or a close date; where the CRM is silent, she says what is missing.

What SERA does

What SERA does, in the team room

The Sales team room

A team room is one conversation that a department's people and its AI teammates share. Everything said in it is attributed and kept, so the room is also the team's record.

Address an agent by name and it answers in the thread. A message addressed to nobody goes to the team lead.

An instruction becomes a task on the team board only when a person confirms it.

When the lead passes work to a teammate, the thread says who holds it now, and the work runs under that teammate's own trust.

An action that needs approval waits in the thread as a card. A person approves or refuses it there or in the Inbox, and deciding in either place decides it once.

Sending an email and other changes that cannot be undone are never started from a room, only where they can be approved.

SERA leads the Sales room, so a message addressed to nobody reaches her. Ask her where the pipeline stands, what a stuck deal needs next or who should take a piece of work.

She answers pipeline questions from the CRM digest in the team record, stage by stage, and hands prospecting, deal work and forecasting to the teammate on the Sales roster who owns it.

Deals reach the room once they are in the CRM. A member who may not read leads gets the stage roll-up and never a named deal.

Room 01

Briefs on the record

A person addresses a teammate by name in the thread, and each brief keeps its replies under it.

Two messages in a demo workspace's Sales room addressed to NORA: a question about what the team does, and a first brief asking for five matching companies and an outreach draft, with nothing sent without approval
Room 02

Answers that cite the record

An answer in the room names the part of the team record it came from. Here, the charter and an empty board.

A thread in the Sales room where NORA answers what the team does from the charter, notes that the task board is empty and lists events.log as its source

What sets SERA apart

  1. 01

    Multiplayer

Several AI agents and the team's people work on one shared context: the room's thread, the documents pinned to it and the team record.

In the Sales room, SERA, her teammates and your sellers work in one thread. She hands work only to a teammate on the room's roster and says in the thread who holds it now.

  2. 02

    Promoted like people

An agent earns more room to act on its record, one kind of action at a time. Nagent proposes a promotion when that record is strong, and a step down when people keep overriding the agent. Destructive changes always wait for a person.

Each teammate under SERA earns its own promotions on its own record: work she hands over runs under that teammate's trust, never hers.

  3. 03

A state of the art control plane

Before any agent acts, Nagent fires the action, queues it for a person or refuses it. Every action lands in the action log with its trigger and resolution, and every agent carries its own daily and monthly spending cap.

Her team's actions, approvals and spend sit in that one control plane, and the approvals wait in the Inbox for the person who can decide them.

  4. 04

    Human on the loop

The agent works on its own inside those limits while a person supervises and holds the approvals that matter. A decision recorded in a room is permanent, and the team's agents can cite it back.

SERA reads the CRM digest and the team record, and where the record is silent she says what is missing instead of guessing. A booked meeting is handed to a named person, who owes an acknowledgement.

  5. 05

    Pipeline answers from the record.

Open deals per stage, the value in each stage and how long the oldest has waited come from the CRM digest. With no pipeline in the record, she says so and names who can import it.

  6. 06

A handoff with an owner and a clock.

A booked meeting becomes a handoff card owned by a named person. One nobody acknowledges within 36 hours turns escalated and sorts to the top of the meetings board.

  7. 07

Named deals only for people who may read leads.

In the room, a member without access to leads gets the stage roll-up from SERA and never a named deal.

How it works

How SERA works

  1. 01

Brief SERA in the Sales room.

SERA leads the Sales team room and answers there.

  2. 02

    Pipeline from the record.

Pipeline questions are answered from the CRM digest in the team record, stage by stage.

  3. 03

    Route to the owner.

NORA finds and researches prospects against the saved ideal customer profile and runs first outreach. LIPI writes to leads already in the CRM and VANI writes first touch to prospects. SERA says who now holds each piece.

  4. 04

    Unstick deals.

For a stuck deal, SERA names the next step and who owns it.

  5. 05

    A person approves the send.

Sending is never started from a room. NORA's outreach waits for a person's approval, and nurture steps are drafted for a rep to review unless a workspace changes that setting.

Team leads

  • NORA, Outbound researchLive

Finds accounts that fit your customer profile, researches each into a sourced dossier and drafts the first e-mail.

  • DEXA, Deal executionComing soon

Runs deals from the first call to signature.

  • RIVA, Revenue operationsComing soon

Keeps the pipeline and the forecast honest.

Shared writers

  • LIPI, CRM email writerBeta

Writes the personalised e-mail a lead sees from the lead page, a nurture sequence step or a sales agent follow-up, in the workspace's voice and from its offerings and knowledge only.

  • VANI, Outbound email writerBeta

Writes NORA's first-touch, follow-up and breakup e-mails to prospects who have never replied, in the workspace's voice and from its offerings and knowledge only.

Works with

What SERA works with

Signals

  • CRM digest

Open deals per stage, the value in each stage by currency and the age of the oldest, for pipeline questions.

  • Named deals

Up to 25 open deals with stage, owner, value and last activity, for a question about one deal.

  • Team record

The charter, the board, the decision log and pinned documents, for what the team has agreed and what is waiting.

  • Team roster

Who is on the Sales team, which bounds who she may hand work to.

Integrations

  • Gmail or Outlook

CRM e-mail goes out from the rep's own mailbox, so the sender is the person who owns the lead.

  • Google Calendar

Free and busy times, and the events a booked meeting creates.

Approval and trust

What SERA does on its own, and what waits for a person

  • Before any agent acts, Nagent fires the action, queues it for a person or refuses it. Pure reads always run.

  • Work SERA hands over runs under the receiving teammate's own trust, so a handoff never lends the lead's trust to anyone else.

  • NORA's outreach waits for a person's approval before it is sent.

  • When a class of action reaches 20 approvals with no reversals, Nagent raises one promotion request, and a person grants or declines it.

  • Destructive changes ask a person every time.

Governance

How SERA is governed

01

Grounded on the CRM record.

Numbers come from the team record; a deal, contact, value or date is never invented.

02

Approval before the irreversible step.

An e-mail that has been sent cannot be unsent, so a person approves it while it is a draft.

03

A person takes the handoff.

A qualified reply becomes a meeting and a handoff card; a handoff nobody acknowledges within 36 hours escalates.

04

On the record, in your workspace.

Every agent action is logged with its trigger, target, cost and resolution, and each workspace's rows are scoped to it at the data layer.

Questions

Questions about SERA

01

What is SERA?

SERA is the chief of staff for Sales on Nagent, the multiplayer AI platform for growth teams. She leads the Sales team, which owns qualified meetings, and reports to you. She hands each piece of sales work to the teammate who owns it and reports where every deal stands from the CRM.

02

Where do SERA's pipeline numbers come from?

From the CRM digest in the team record: stage, count, value and age, each as the record gives it, never from memory. SERA never invents a deal, a contact, a value or a close date. Where the CRM is silent, she says what is missing rather than filling the gap.

03

Who works under SERA?

NORA leads outbound research and is live. DEXA for deal execution and RIVA for revenue operations are coming soon. LIPI and VANI are the shared e-mail writers and carry a Beta tag: LIPI writes to leads already in the CRM, and VANI writes first touch to prospects for NORA.

04

Will Nagent's Sales team send e-mail without asking?

Not from a room, and not by default. NORA's outreach waits for a person's approval, and nurture steps are drafted for a rep to review unless a workspace changes that setting. Approval sits before the irreversible step: an e-mail that has been sent cannot be unsent, so the time to look is while it is still a draft.

05

Does SERA close deals?

No. The Sales team finds, researches, writes and books, and keeps the deal record in order. A person takes the meeting, judges the deal and closes it. For a deal that is stuck, SERA names the next step and who owns it, so the decision stays with the person who owns the number.

06

Who is SERA's Sales team for?

A founder or head of sales at a B2B company that needs more qualified conversations without first hiring a research desk. The daily users are the account executives who take the meetings and whoever approves outreach. Choosing Sales at sign-up installs the team into the company's workspace, seated in one team room.

07

How much does SERA cost?

SERA works on the Sales team. Nagent plans are Solo at $29.99 a month ($19.99 billed annually), Team at $299 a month ($199 billed annually) and Business at $1,499 a month ($999 billed annually). Enterprise is by quote. The pricing page shows which teams each plan includes.
