What is Echo from Nagent?

Meet Echo, our reputation coworker
Reads reviews into cases and checks what answer engines say about you against facts your team approved.
See Echo in action →Echo is Nagent's AI Reputation Coworker, in Beta, on the Marketing team reporting to MIRA. It watches where customers and employees leave reviews, opens a case when something needs a response, and drafts a reply for a named person to approve; that person then posts it by hand, because Echo never posts. It also asks answer engines the questions your buyers ask and checks each claim against facts your team approved, turning wrong ones into findings with an owner.
What does Echo do?
Echo does two related jobs that most tools split apart.
Reviews and mentions. Six listening seats read the places your business is reviewed, grade what arrives by severity, and open a case when something needs a response. A case carries the issue, its risk, an owner, a reply state and a due time. A person can take a case over from Echo and hand it back.
What AI assistants say about you. Echo samples each buyer question on up to three answer engines, pulls out each claim and judges it accurate or inaccurate against facts a person in your workspace approved. A claim that is wrong or disputed becomes a finding with a severity, and a finding never closes itself.
The rule underneath both: Echo never decides on its own what is true about your company. A claim is accurate only if it matches a fact your people approved, so the record of truth stays with the business.
Which review sites and sources can Echo read?
Each seat owns a group of platforms:
LOCAL: Google, Justdial, Yelp, Tripadvisor and the local review sites you are listed on.
REVIEWS: G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, Clutch and MouthShut.
APPS: App Store and Google Play.
SHOP: Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, Meesho and your own store.
EMPLOYER: Glassdoor, AmbitionBox and Indeed, kept to the rules for employee reviews.
SOCIAL: the Reddit threads, X posts, YouTube videos, news and web pages a person adds.
Google Business Profile connects directly, so Echo reads reviews for the locations you select, up to 500 reviews per location. Every other source is a public page a person adds. Echo checks the page still names your business before saving it, reads public pages only and never logs in. It can also search the public web and propose your listing pages, which wait for a person to accept or dismiss. Review sites added this way are in Beta.
How does Echo check what AI assistants say about you?
On the AI reputation screen:
Add the questions your buyers ask, written as they would type them.
Run a sample on one question or all of them. Each run asks up to three answer engines and stores the answers as observations. Echo also samples every question once a week, on Mondays.
Read the verdicts. Each observation lists the claims Echo pulled out and whether each is accurate or inaccurate against your facts.
Work the findings. Create a finding, request a fact review, or add it to remediation. A person sets the owner, severity and what is done about it.
The overview keeps three measures separate: claim issues, observed inclusion and source coverage. There is no single AI score, because being absent from an answer and being misdescribed in one are different problems with different fixes.
How do Echo's reply drafts and approvals work?
Every public word is one a named person chose.
Draft on request. On a case, press Draft a reply. The seat that owns the source writes a reply of up to 1,500 characters, grounded in your approved facts, in your brand's voice and within what the platform allows.
Decide one at a time. Drafts land on Echo's Approvals screen, whose rule is that there is no approve-all. Open a draft to see the exact words, the review it answers, the checks and the facts it rests on.
Approve, send back or reject. Approve this exact version records your decision. Request changes asks for a reason, and the reason is carried into the next draft.
Post by hand. After approval, Copy reply and Mark posted appear. You post the words on the platform yourself, and the case records who posted it and when.
Sensitive reviews go to a person. A review about safety, health, discrimination, harassment, a legal threat or a child's wellbeing is graded sensitive, and no seat drafts its reply. The designated reviewer writes it.
How do you set Echo up?
Echo arrives when you take the Marketing team whole at sign-up. Otherwise, add it from Welcome: Add a team, Choose a prebuilt team, then Add Echo on the Marketing card. You get an Echo team room with the six seats, a seat in the Marketing room, and five workflows whose schedules arrive switched off: Reputation scan, What AI assistants say about you, Review reply drafts, Reputation against competitors, and Weekly mentions digest.
Then, in Manage:
Write down the facts on the Knowledge tab: what is true about your company, offer and prices. Edit or expire each as it changes. Without approved facts, Echo has nothing to judge against.
Connect Google Business Profile on the Sources tab and choose the locations Echo reads.
Tell Echo who it listens for: brand name, website, phones and addresses.
Add the sites where customers review you, or use Find it for me and accept the pages you recognise.
Add buyer questions on the AI reputation screen and run a first sample.
What does Echo cost?
There is no separate Echo price. Echo works on the Marketing team, and Nagent plans are on the pricing page, with agent work metered in credits that are visible in the workspace. Inside Echo, usage shows as counts, never prices:
AI answer samples: each question has a weekly allowance of 12 samples, and one sample is one engine's answer, so a run across three engines uses three. The allowance resets on Monday.
Paid reads: reads that cost money are capped each month, 200 by default. Free reads carry on when the cap is reached.
Daily budget: every read and sample counts against Echo's daily budget. When it is spent, Echo stops and says so, and resumes when the budget resets.
What does Echo not do?
Echo is in Beta, and its own screens say what is still to come. Today:
It does not post replies. Approval records a decision; a person posts.
It does not change what answer engines say. It finds and tracks wrong claims; fixing the sources is work for people and other teammates.
It does not ask customers for reviews or run a social media inbox.
Talking to Echo in the app is not built yet, and missions, incidents, insights and the MIRA digest stay empty until those parts are built.
Google Business Profile needs API access granted by Google before reviews flow.
How is Echo different from Birdeye, Yext or Sprout Social?
We make Nagent, so here is a fair summary of the others from their own sites, checked 24 October 2026.
Birdeye runs review generation, review response and review marketing agents for multi-location businesses; its response agent can post on its own or hold for approval, and its Search AI tracks AI visibility and accuracy. Priced by quote.
Yext reads Google, Facebook, Yelp and more than 80 industry sites; its reviews page says AI drafts and you approve, and its Scout agent tracks AI search visibility. Priced by quote.
Sprout Social puts reviews from eight networks into its social inbox, from its Standard plan at $199 a seat a month.
Echo differs in three ways: it never posts, so every public reply is posted by a person; it judges AI answers only against facts your people approved, rather than its own view of the truth; and it covers marketplaces, employer sites and Indian platforms such as Justdial, AmbitionBox and MouthShut alongside global ones. The others are more complete for review generation and automated responses at scale.
How does Echo work with the rest of Nagent?
Nagent is multiplayer AI for growth: people and AI agents in one shared context, delivering the number. Echo has a seat in the Marketing room, which MIRA leads, and answers questions there from the team record with citations. When a fix belongs to another teammate, Echo hands it over. A page that answer engines should read differently goes to DRIS, which works on how often answer engines include you; Echo works on whether they describe you correctly. If DRIS runs in your workspace, it proposes the review pages AI engines cite for you as sources for Echo to read.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is AI reputation management?
Using AI to monitor what customers and AI assistants say about a company, prioritise what needs a response, draft replies for people to approve, and check AI answers for accuracy. Our explainer on AI reputation management goes deeper.
How do I monitor what ChatGPT says about my company and correct wrong answers?
Write down the facts that must be right, ask the questions buyers ask on several engines regularly, and compare each claim with those facts. You cannot edit an answer directly; you correct the pages and listings the engines read, then re-check. Echo automates the asking and checking; the correction is done by people and by DRIS on your site.
Does Echo reply to reviews?
Echo's seats draft replies for a named approver, one at a time. Echo has no send path: once a reply is approved, a person copies it and posts it on the platform.
Can Echo change what an answer engine says about us?
No. It finds the claims an answer gets wrong against your approved facts and turns each into a finding with an owner and severity. Changing the answer means changing the sources the engines read.
