Nagent NORA vs 11x for outbound

11x suits revenue teams that want managed AI agents running outbound and inbound across email, voice, chat, social and SMS, with sending domains and deliverability handled for them. Nagent's NORA suits teams that want research-first outbound by email, where every claim in a draft traces to a sourced dossier and a person approves each send on a new workspace. Choose 11x for channel reach and a managed motion; choose NORA for control over what reaches a stranger's inbox.

How do NORA and 11x compare at a glance?

We make Nagent, so we have kept every 11x fact to what 11x publishes on its own site, checked 24 October 2026.

11x

  • What it is: AI agents for revenue teams. Alice is mapped to outbound plays and Julian to inbound plays such as speed to lead and meeting scheduling. The platform covers a lead database, AI prospecting, deep research, multi-channel sequences, smart replies, a phone agent and deliverability.

  • Best for: teams that want one vendor across outbound, inbound and expansion, on several channels, with the motion largely run for them.

  • Pricing: no public price. The 11x pricing URL returned a 404 on 24 October 2026, and the site routes buyers to a demo.

  • Limitation: no published plan sizes to budget against, and its outbound page describes a hands-off motion where "Reps don't touch anything until a prospect is ready to talk", so check how approvals are configured in your account.

NORA (Nagent)

  • What it is: Nagent's AI Outbound Research Lead on the Sales team, reporting to SERA, the AI Sales Chief of Staff. She finds accounts that fit your profile, scores them, researches each into a dossier, has VANI (Beta) draft the email and hands qualified meetings to a person. See NORA's page.

  • Best for: teams whose outbound risk is accuracy and tone, who want every send approved while trust builds, and who want sales work in one shared room with their people and other agents.

  • Pricing: no separate NORA price. She works on the Sales team; plans are on Nagent's pricing page and agent work is metered in credits.

  • Limitation: email only, no calls, social or SMS; and her pipeline does not sync with an outside CRM.

How does each one research an account before writing?

Both put research ahead of writing, which is the right instinct. The difference is in how strictly the research binds the email.

11x describes Deep Research as an AI research analyst per lead. It reads public sources, news, job postings, company announcements and your CRM context, combines them with your Knowledge Base, and produces a report with citations and a recommended messaging strategy. You can review the sources, change the angle or override the recommendation before outreach is sent.

NORA builds a dossier per company: an overview, why it fits, its buying signals and its pitch hooks, each with a source and date. Signals older than 30 days count as stale. The binding part is the check on the email: VANI returns each draft with a list of every specific claim it made about the prospect, and a claim that does not appear in the dossier, signals, hooks or contact record fails a validator, so the draft is refused. With a thin dossier, she asks one qualifying question instead of asserting something.

In practice: 11x gives you cited research that shapes the message; NORA makes the research a hard limit on what the message may say.

Who approves what gets sent?

This is the sharpest difference for most buyers.

  • 11x: the deep research page says you can override before outreach is sent, and the outbound page describes agents handling timing, follow-ups and channel switching. Approval behaviour is something to confirm in a demo for your account and plays.

  • NORA: sending is gated separately from her autonomy level. On a new workspace every send waits for a person, whatever level her seat shows. A draft still marked as a draft is refused with "Approve before sending", and approval is checked again immediately before the email leaves. Approving a draft moves the company to Ready to send; it does not send it.

Nagent agents arrive at L2 Assist on a five-level ladder (L1 Observe, L2 Assist, L3 Operate, L4 Represent, L5 Lead). The system nominates a raise on the record, a person decides, one step at a time. The autonomy and governance docs cover the rules.

How does each protect your sending domain?

11x describes managed deliverability and mailbox health: it provisions sending domains with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, warms them automatically, runs inbox placement tests before volume goes out, monitors blacklists, pauses and cools down affected mailboxes, swaps in warmed domains when health drops, and sends plain-text emails with no tracking pixels. That is a real strength if you do not want to run sending infrastructure yourself.

NORA protects the domain by sending less and checking more:

  • Outbound email goes from your own sending account and a domain you verify. Nagent's docs do not describe domain provisioning or warm-up, so that stays your job or your email provider's.

  • Every email carries an unsubscribe link and one-click unsubscribe headers. Opt-outs, replies asking to stop, spam complaints and permanent bounces go to your workspace's suppression list, which is checked at the moment each email leaves.

  • Broadcast releases only already-approved drafts, inside the sending hours you set.

  • Contacts are revealed only for companies that score 70 or more against your profile, so volume follows fit.

Mailbox providers have tightened the rules. Yahoo's sender best practices ask bulk senders to keep spam complaints below 0.3%, authenticate with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and honour one-click unsubscribes within 2 days, and Google announced similar rules for anyone sending more than 5,000 messages a day to Gmail. Both approaches aim at the same outcome by different routes: 11x manages infrastructure at volume; NORA keeps volume low and every send reviewed.

Which channels and plays does each cover?

11x covers far more ground. Its site lists email, voice, chat, social, SMS and WhatsApp agents, inbound plays (speed to lead, inbound qualification, meeting scheduling), outbound plays (lead generation, reactivation, closed-lost, competitive takeout, event follow-up) and expansion plays.

NORA covers outbound email: discovery, research, drafting, follow-up cadence, reply classification and the meeting handoff. Replies are classified as interested, objection, scheduling or unsubscribe so the cadence stops or changes course. Other Nagent teammates cover other work, but NORA herself does not call, message on social networks or handle inbound chat.

How does each fit with your CRM and your team?

11x lists CRM, Slack and G2 integrations and an API, and its research reads CRM context.

NORA works inside Nagent's Sales room, which SERA leads, with VANI, LIPI and your people in one thread. Type @ and pick NORA to ask her something; she answers with the sources. Her CRM view reads the workspace's own lead records, and a prospect enters it only with four qualification questions answered with evidence. An outside CRM can be connected as a tool, but her pipeline does not sync records with it. If your CRM must be the single source of truth for every touch, weigh that gap.

How do pricing and contracts compare?

  • 11x: quote only. Ask for the price at your volume, the contract term, which channels are included and what happens on overage.

  • NORA: no per-agent price. Nagent plans carry the Sales team, and agent work is metered in credits visible in the workspace; for scale, a campaign build is about 40 credits. Every discovery run states its cost before it starts, a run that would cross the weekly spend cap waits for approval, and research runs inside a daily outreach budget. When the allowance runs out, paid tools pause and nothing is deleted.

Which should you choose?

Choose 11x if:

  • you want voice, SMS, social or chat agents as well as email;

  • you want inbound speed-to-lead and outbound in one vendor;

  • you would rather the vendor run domains, warm-up and inbox placement.

Choose NORA if:

  • a wrong claim in a cold email costs you more than a slower send;

  • you want every send approved by a person while the agent earns trust;

  • you want outbound research in the same shared room as your sales team and SERA.

What NORA does not do (where Nagent fits)

NORA is the research-and-email part of a multiplayer growth org: people and AI agents in one shared context. She does not place calls, send LinkedIn or SMS messages, run inbound chat, provision sending domains, close deals or sync her pipeline with an outside CRM. If those are the jobs, 11x or another tool covers them better. If the job is accurate, approved outbound email that a person hands off to a meeting, start with NORA.

Frequently Asked Questions

11x vs Artisan vs Unify for AI outbound: how do they differ?

All three are AI outbound tools with different defaults. 11x runs multi-channel agents for outbound and inbound and quotes on request. Artisan's Ava is described on its pricing page as autonomous by default, with approval before sending available, and is sized by leads contacted. Unify drafts for reps to approve and lists seats from $20 a month (checked 24 October 2026).

Is 11x an AI SDR?

Yes, in the common sense of the term. 11x sells AI agents that research, write and run sequences for outbound, plus inbound agents that qualify and book meetings, across several channels.

Can NORA send emails without approval?

Not on a new workspace. Sending is gated separately from her level, and every send waits for a person. Research and drafting run on their own.

Does NORA warm up sending domains?

Nagent's docs do not describe warm-up or domain provisioning. You send from your own account and a domain you verify, and NORA adds unsubscribe links, one-click unsubscribe headers and a suppression check at send time.

AI SDR emails get low reply rates and hurt our domain. What is the alternative?

Low replies and a damaged domain usually come from the same cause: high volume of thinly researched email. The alternative is research-first outreach, fewer sends, a person approving each one, and a protected sending domain. Here is how to diagnose it and recover.

Sales

How do I set up AI agents for a small B2B sales team without sending spam?

Start narrow and keep a person on the send. One customer profile, an authenticated domain, agents that research and draft, approval on every first touch, volume capped to what a person can read, and opt-outs honoured automatically.
